    Reposit is the deposit alternative: the tenant pays a one-week fee instead of a five-week deposit. In PropertyGoose you offer it with a toggle on the tenant offer, the tenant opts in, and the reference checks eligibility automatically using the same affordability, credit and Right to Rent results it already has.

    Once the reference passes, the Reposit is created from the tenancy with live pricing for the rent and headcount. Reposit then tells PropertyGoose when each tenant has confirmed, signed and paid, and PropertyGoose marks the tenancy's deposit step protected, settles the deposit-share records and pushes the deposit type to your CRM.     1. Connect: enter your Reposit account ID and API key in Settings, or ask PropertyGoose to request an account for you.

    2. Offer: toggle Reposit on the tenant offer. The tenant opts in.

    3. Create: after the reference passes, create the Reposit from the tenancy. Reposit does the rest and tells PropertyGoose when it is done.

    How is eligibility decided?+
    From the reference: affordability, credit history and Right to Rent. PropertyGoose only offers Reposit where the tenant qualifies.
    Do I have to check whether the tenant has paid?+
    No. Reposit updates PropertyGoose in real time and the tenancy deposit step is marked protected when every tenant has paid.
